The chief guest of the ceremony was Dr. Dheeraj Prakash Joshi, an officer of the Indian Foreign Service and India’s Ambassador to Iraq. The program was presided over by Kavita Pathak. Distinguished guests included physicist Rajesh Bhatt, ghazal singer Devendra Hiran, Devsthan Department Commissioner Geetesh Shri Malviya, and Senior Account Officer Seema Geetesh Shri.
Program coordinator and singer Lalit Goyal informed that the Shayrana Udaipur Family has been continuously organizing free literary and musical social service programs for the last 15 years. The group has provided an open platform to emerging talents in literature and music, promoting cultural and artistic values not only across Rajasthan but also at the national level.
The competition featured classical singing, couplets, ghazals, folk songs, Sufi music, bhajans, and popular film songs. Artists showcased their remarkable talent and filled the venue with musical energy and enthusiasm.
Dr. Dheeraj Prakash Joshi praised the performances while judging the event and described Shayrana Udaipur Family as a powerful medium for literature and music. He emphasized that the organization plays an important role in preserving cultural values and traditions. According to him, talented artists associated with the group would also get opportunities to perform in upcoming state-level programs, helping them further refine their artistic skills.
One of the highlights of the evening was the mesmerizing classical performance by renowned Nathdwara-based singer Mansvi Vyas. Her soulful bhajans and musical renditions captivated the audience, who repeatedly requested more performances. Shayrana Udaipur Family honored her with a memento and gift amount for her outstanding contribution to music. Organizers also announced plans for a grand musical event featuring Mansvi Vyas for the youth in the coming days.
The event was judged by Dr. Dheeraj Prakash Joshi and Girish Vyas. Due to the exceptionally high standard of performances, the judges were compelled to present additional consolation prizes.
In the competition, Imran Sabri secured the first position, while Narayan Lal Lohar stood second and Senior Account Officer Hemant Suryavanshi claimed the third position. Consolation prizes were awarded to Education Officer Indu K Jain and industrialist Mukesh Sharma.
The winners received trophies, certificates, traditional honors, gifts, and complimentary membership of Shayrana Udaipur Family.
The program was gracefully anchored by litterateur Abha Sirsekar, whose poetic presentation and sher-o-shayari added charm to the musical evening. Physicist Rajesh Bhatt also impressed the audience with a melodious singing performance.
While addressing the gathering, Kavita Pathak appreciated the organization for guiding youth in a positive direction through literature and music, describing music as a reflection of civilization and culture. Devsthan Department Commissioner Geetesh Shri Malviya called music the soul of human society and emphasized the importance of such cultural innovations.
Several distinguished personalities and performers including Pawan Parikh, Ravi Pathak, Divyani Sharma from Gujarat, Utpal Naresh Singh Chauhan, Ajit Singh Khinchi, Dr. Hukm Raj Joshi, Anu Joshi, Manzoor Hussain, Nishit Chaplot, C.P. Gandharv, Gulzar Chittorgarhi, Vinod Jain, Shamim Sheikh, Ekta Nagda, Mahendra Kumawat, Santosh Agrawal, Sohan Lal, Mukesh Sharma, S.D. Kaushal, Lokesh Vaishnav, Dr. Sushil Sahu, Kamal Juneja, and Indu K Jain delivered remarkable performances during the musical celebration.
