Udaipur: A departmental review meeting regarding the effective implementation of the Kali Bai Bhil Udaan Scheme was held at the District Council auditorium. The meeting was chaired by Chief Executive Officer Virmaram.
During the meeting, discussions were held on the free distribution and supply of sanitary napkins to women and girls, beneficiary registration on the e-Aushadhi and RajSIMS portals, compliance with SOP guidelines, and menstrual hygiene awareness programmes.
Officials from the concerned departments were instructed to work in coordination to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach all eligible girls and women. Directions were also issued to organize regular awareness programmes on menstrual hygiene management and sanitation in schools and institutions.
Emphasis was laid on maintaining a smooth system for sanitary napkin distribution and proper maintenance of records. Officials were instructed to conduct regular inspections in accordance with the targets set under the Udaan Scheme. They were also directed to take prompt action on any issue or complaint received.
Deputy Director of the Women Empowerment Department Sanjay Joshi stated that the objective of the scheme is to increase awareness about menstrual hygiene among girls and women and provide them with necessary facilities.
The meeting was attended by officials from various departments including Dr. Dinesh Bansal from the Education Department, Pankaj Pahar from the Child Rights Department, Arushi Jain from the Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Nandlal Meghwal from ICDS, Khemchand Jain from the Sanskrit Education Department, Dr. Bhavana Pokharna from the College Education Department, and Dashrath Singh Chundawat from Rajivika, along with several other departmental representatives.
