From Udaipur to India’s Biggest BGMI Stage: Rohit “Kratos” Saxena Selected for KRAFTON India’s Rising Star Program
Udaipur: Udaipur’s rising esports talent Rohit “Kratos” Saxena has been selected for KRAFTON India’s prestigious Rising Star Program, an initiative focused on recognising and nurturing promising gaming talent across the country.
Representing Team Nebula Esports, Kratos has steadily built a reputation in the Indian BGMI esports scene through his aggressive gameplay, consistency, and team-first mindset. His selection into the Rising Star Program marks another major milestone in his journey from Udaipur’s local gaming community to the national esports spotlight.
Kratos began his BGMI journey in 2021 after being inspired by iconic Indian esports moments, including watching Naman “Mortal” Mathur and his team lift the PMCO trophy in 2019. What started as passion for gaming soon transformed into a professional pursuit, with the Udaipur player now competing among some of the country’s top BGMI athletes.
Speaking about being part of the Rising Star Program, Rohit “Kratos” Saxena said, “I truly feel great about being a part of this program since I believe KRAFTON has selected deserving players to attain such a prestigious platform. I still consider myself a rising star because I never stop learning, whether from my highs or lows.”
Currently representing Team Nebula Esports alongside teammates Aadi, Knowme, Phoenix, and Arjun, Kratos believes one of the biggest lessons in his esports journey has been understanding the importance of teamwork over individual performance.
“My biggest learning experience is learning how to play as a team player rather than focusing only on individual gameplay,” he shared.
Despite already establishing himself in the competitive scene, Kratos says his biggest motivation remains representing India on the international stage and winning a global title for the country.
“To represent our nation internationally and dominate there is what keeps me motivated every day,” he added.
The Rising Star Program has been launched to provide emerging esports athletes with visibility, mentorship, and opportunities within the rapidly growing gaming industry. According to Kratos, such initiatives are extremely important for upcoming players trying to break into professional esports.
As esports continues to grow rapidly in India, Rohit “Kratos” Saxena’s journey from Udaipur to India’s top BGMI competitions is inspiring a new generation of gamers from Rajasthan to dream bigger and pursue esports professionally.
