Free-entry musical extravaganza at RNT Medical College; emerging singer Pamil Modi to perform alongside the celebrated finalist
Udaipur: Dr. J.K. Tayalia Foundation, in association with Econ Building Product, is organizing a free musical evening, “Sneha Shankar Night,” on 5th June at RNT Medical College, Udaipur. The event will feature Indian Idol Season 15 finalist and young playback singer Sneha Shankar, who will enthrall the audience with her soulful renditions of popular Bollywood songs. Entry to the program will be free, although access will be through invitation cards. The evening will also showcase performances by the city’s emerging singer, Pamil Modi.
Dr. J.K. Tayalia informed that Sneha Shankar is the granddaughter of the late Shankar of the renowned Sufi duo Shankar-Shambhu and the daughter of acclaimed music composer and playback singer Ram Shankar. Raised in a rich musical environment, she began training in classical and contemporary music at the age of three and has emerged as one of the most promising young talents in the Indian music industry.
Through her melodious voice and emotionally captivating performances in Indian Idol Season 15, Sneha won the admiration of audiences across the country as well as music legends including Shreya Ghoshal, Sonu Nigam, Shankar Mahadevan, Vishal Dadlani, Badshah, and Bhushan Kumar. Impressed by her talent, T-Series offered her a recording contract.
Recently, Sneha lent her voice to the film “Thug Life” alongside legendary composer A.R. Rahman and to the film “Haq” with music composer Vishal Mishra. She has also recorded songs for several upcoming films, web series, television shows, and music albums that are scheduled for release soon.
Dr. Tayalia emphasized that true talent is never limited by circumstances. The event’s associate partner, Econ Building Product, has been actively working in the fields of education, healthcare, personality development, youth empowerment, and social awareness.
