International Yoga Day 2026: Three-Day Yoga and Heartfulness Meditation Camp Concludes

Udaipur: On the occasion of International Yoga Day 2026, a three-day free Yoga and Heartfulness Meditation Camp was successfully organized at the Community Hall in Purohiton Ki Madri, Ward No. 41, under the joint aegis of the Heartfulness Institute, Udaipur Centre, and Bharat Swabhiman Nyas and Patanjali Yog Samiti Family, Udaipur. The camp was conducted as part of the nationwide campaign initiated by the Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India.

Camp Coordinator Mohan Singh Shaktawat informed that the camp commenced on Tuesday, June 2. On the opening day, participants were guided through regular yoga practices in accordance with the Common Yoga Protocol. A special meditation session featuring Heartfulness Meditation, a heart-based meditation technique, was also conducted.

During all three days of the camp, meditation sessions were led by Dr. Subodh Kumar Sharma, a certified trainer associated with the Heartfulness Institute. A large number of local residents participated in the sessions and experienced mental peace, positive thinking, and spiritual well-being.

On the occasion, Yoga Trainer Devilal Chandel conducted simple yoga practices prescribed under the yoga protocol, while Ms. Ranjana introduced participants to a series of Brighter Minds exercises. She explained that these simple exercises help enhance cognitive intelligence, significantly improving an individual’s ability to think, understand, learn, remember, reason, solve problems, and make informed decisions.

President of the Yoga Committee, Manohar Lal Chawda, expressed gratitude to the trainers and said that yoga helps maintain a healthy and strong body, while meditation promotes a calm, focused, and balanced mind. The combination of both enables individuals to lead a stress-free, energetic, and successful life.

During the concluding meditation session, participants pledged to make regular yoga and meditation a part of their daily routine. People from all age groups enthusiastically took part in the camp.

The organizers urged residents to take maximum advantage of such initiatives and emphasized that promoting yoga and meditation among the masses is essential for building a healthy, happy, and balanced society.
