Lightweight Designer Jewellery Offers Relief Amid Rising Gold Prices
Udaipur: In a move aimed at providing customers with attractive, designer, and budget-friendly jewellery amid soaring gold prices, Sojatia Jewellers has launched its grand Jadau Polki Exhibition. The exhibition was inaugurated by Mrs. Preeti Gajendra Singh Shaktawat in the presence of several prominent personalities from the jewellery trade and social sectors.
Among those present on the occasion were Yashwant Anchaliya, President of the Sarafa Association; Jitendra Kothari, President of the Sarafa Wholesale Association; Mrs. Ambika Singh Basi; Prakash Singvi, General Secretary of the Sarafa Association; Mukesh Madhavani, Chairperson of BCI; Dr. Mukesh Shrimali; and Suresh Samar, along with other distinguished guests. The event was presided over by Prof. Ranjit Singh Sojatia, Founder of the Sojatia Group.
Dr. Mahendra Sojatia stated that the primary objective of the exhibition is to introduce customers to the latest trends in lightweight jewellery. Keeping in view the continuous rise in gold prices, the jewellery has been crafted on the concept of “less weight, greater spread,” enabling customers to enjoy grand and elegant designs at a lower cost. He explained that jewellery sets that previously required around ten tolas of gold are now being created using approximately six tolas without compromising on aesthetics.
Providing further details, Dr. Dhruv Sojatia said that the Jadau Polki collection is being crafted in 18-carat gold instead of the traditional 22-carat gold. This approach significantly reduces the impact of rising gold prices on customers’ budgets. He added that demand for both 18-carat and 14-carat jewellery has been increasing rapidly in recent years.
Nehal Sojatia announced that customers can avail themselves of a special 25 percent discount on making charges for Jadau gold jewellery under the exhibition, which will continue until June 15.
Chief Guest Mrs. Preeti Shaktawat praised Sojatia Jewellers for establishing a strong reputation through transparency, quality craftsmanship, and exclusive designer collections. She expressed confidence that the unique lightweight Jadau Polki collection would receive an enthusiastic response from customers.
