Jazba Bharat Award Honors Differently-Abled Athletes

Mumbai: The Maharashtra Differently-Abled Women’s Cricket Forum and Indian Wheelchair Athletes were honored with the Jazba Bharat Award at a grand ceremony held at Anjuman-e-Islam, Mumbai. The event was presided over by Tamanna, Chairperson of the Jazba Bharat Awards, while the proceedings were conducted by Naresh Kumar, State Advisor and Opening Officer.

During the ceremony, detailed discussions were held on the current status and future direction of persons with disabilities, the objectives and mission of the forum, and its constitutional framework. Speakers highlighted the remarkable achievements of differently-abled athletes who continue to excel in various sports across different districts, proving that they are second to none.

Athletes Honored

A special Jazba Bharat Award Felicitation Ceremony was organized to recognize outstanding differently-abled sportspersons. The chief guest honored medal winners from international, national, and state-level competitions and encouraged them to focus on both education and sports to achieve greater success.

During the event, winning cricket players were felicitated for their achievements, and wheelchair athletes were also honored for their dedication, perseverance, and contributions to sports. The ceremony celebrated the spirit, determination, and accomplishments of differently-abled athletes who continue to inspire society through their performances and resilience.
