SAPTA SHAKTI COMMAND CONDUCTED FORMATION COMMANDERS’ CONFERENCE AT JAIPUR
Jaipur: The Formation Commanders’ Conference of Sapta Shakti Command was held at Jaipur from 05 to 06 June 2026 under the chairmanship of Lieutenant General Manjinder Singh, Army Commander, Sapta Shakti Command.
The two-day conference provided a platform for senior commanders to deliberate on the prevailing security environment and emerging challenges in the tactical and technological domains. Discussions focused on enhancing operational preparedness through modernisation, adoption of niche technologies, cyber security, capacity & capability development and promotion of Atmanirbharta.
The conference reviewed the current security situation and examined the implications of evolving operational and technological trends. Deliberations centred on identifying future-ready solutions to strengthen combat effectiveness and ensure a high state of operational readiness across the Command.
Addressing the commanders, the Army Commander emphasised the importance of leveraging technology-driven solutions and innovative approaches in the employment of equipment and emerging technologies to effectively address the evolving threat landscape. He underscored the need for realistic and systematic training, supported by comprehensive assessments, to further enhance operational preparedness and mission effectiveness.
As part of the conference, the Army Commander also reviewed various initiatives aimed at fostering professionalism, innovation and competitive excellence among formations. The Inter-Formation Drone Sub-Unit Competition, Inter-Formation Sports Competitions and General J.J. Singh Shooting Competition showcased high standards of operational proficiency, marksmanship, physical fitness and teamwork. The Army Commander felicitated the winners and commended all participants for their dedication, professionalism and competitive spirit.
Concluding the conference, the Army Commander lauded the efforts of all ranks and formations in continuously strengthening operational preparedness and effectiveness through innovation, adaptability and a future-ready approach. He exhorted all formations to maintain the highest standards of operational excellence and remain prepared to meet emerging challenges across the spectrum of conflict.
