Special Session Organized to Help Local Businesses Gain Global Recognition; Entrepreneurs Receive Insights on Export and E-Commerce Expansion
FIEO, HiVPay Exim, Delhivery, and BCI Conduct Awareness and Training Session for Udaipur Entrepreneurs
Udaipur: A special awareness and training session on the theme “Local to Global: How Udaipur Sellers Can Build and Scale E-Commerce Businesses Internationally” was organized at Regenta Central, Udaipur. The event was jointly hosted by the Federation of Indian Export Organisations (FIEO), HiVPay Exim, Delhivery Limited, and Business Circle International (BCI).
The session brought together entrepreneurs, traders, startup founders, and aspiring exporters from Udaipur to learn about export opportunities, global market access, and the growing potential of e-commerce-driven international trade.
The distinguished speakers included Bhupinder Singh, Head of FIEO Rajasthan; Geeta Chauhan, Founder of HiVPay Exim; Mayank Agrawal, Business Development Manager at Delhivery Limited; CA Vineet Jain; Mukesh Madhvani, Founder of Business Circle International; and Vishesh Sharma, representative of the Walmart Vriddhi Program.
Welcoming the participants, Bhupinder Singh explained that FIEO is India’s premier export promotion organization, providing exporters with policy support, training, capacity building, and assistance in accessing international markets. He emphasized the importance of empowering local businesses to become globally competitive.
Geeta Chauhan highlighted that the coming decade will belong to businesses that adopt a global mindset from the outset. She explained how HiVPay Exim supports Indian enterprises in accessing international markets, managing cross-border payments, and expanding their global presence through specialized export facilitation services.
Representing the implementation partner of the Walmart Vriddhi Program, Vishesh Sharma stated that Indian micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) can overcome traditional business limitations by leveraging digital commerce and global online marketplaces. He informed participants that the Walmart Vriddhi Program provides free training, personalized mentoring, business registration support, and market access opportunities, enabling entrepreneurs to scale their businesses nationally and internationally.
CA Vineet Jain delivered a detailed presentation on the legal and procedural aspects of exports. He explained key requirements such as Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance, Import Export Code (IEC) registration, ICEGATE registration, AD Code registration, and the Postal Export Bill process in simple and practical terms. He also briefed participants on various Rajasthan Government schemes designed to promote exports, including export incentives, e-commerce export assistance, quality certification support, and freight reimbursement programs.
Mayank Agrawal emphasized the rapid growth of e-commerce exports and stressed the importance of selecting the right logistics partner. He explained that a strong global logistics network, timely delivery, and end-to-end shipment tracking significantly enhance buyer confidence, improve customer satisfaction, and contribute to higher sales. He also shared insights into Delhivery’s international logistics solutions and services.
The interactive session witnessed active participation from numerous entrepreneurs, business owners, startup representatives, and young professionals interested in exports. Participants engaged with experts, sought guidance on export-related challenges, and explored opportunities for expanding their businesses into global markets.
The primary objective of the event was to connect local businesses with international opportunities through digital platforms and to create greater awareness among Udaipur’s entrepreneurial community about the vast potential of exports and e-commerce.
