Kota: The eyes of renowned businessman and social worker Gajendra Singh Rathore (Gundaliya), a resident of Dadabari, Kota, were donated following his untimely demise, giving the gift of sight and hope to those in need.
As soon as the news of his passing reached Naresh Kapoor, an active Jyotimitra associated with Shine India Foundation, he approached the bereaved family and discussed the noble cause of eye donation. Following the discussion, Mr. Rathore’s wife, Mrs. Kanti Rathore, and their two sons, Vinay and Rohit, graciously consented to donate his eyes.
After receiving the family's approval, Naresh Kapoor informed Dr. Kulwant Gaur of Shine India Foundation, who coordinated the eye donation process. Subsequently, through a technician from the EBSR Kota Chapter, the eye retrieval procedure was successfully carried out at the Rathore residence in the presence of family members and relatives.
Late Gajendra Singh Rathore was not only a successful businessman but also a highly respected and compassionate individual known for his warm personality, humility, and ability to connect with people. His courteous nature, positive outlook, and willingness to help others earned him admiration from everyone who came into contact with him. Maintaining strong relationships and extending support to those in need were hallmarks of his character.
Even in his final moments, Mr. Rathore continued to inspire others through this selfless act. By donating his eyes after his passing, he has ensured that light and vision may return to the life of someone living in darkness, leaving behind a legacy of humanity and service that will be remembered for years to come.
