###Massive 200,000-Sq-Ft Dome Being Built for Over 30,000 Visitors
Udaipur Set to Echo with the Heroic Saga of Haldighati Victory
Central Coordination Office Established at Pratap Gaurav Kendra
Udaipur,Preparations are in full swing for the grand Rashtra Chetna Sankalp Sabha (Nation Consciousness Pledge Assembly) to be held on June 17 at Maharana Bhupal Stadium (Gandhi Ground), Udaipur, commemorating the birth anniversary of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap and the 450th year of the historic Haldighati Victory.
The event, being organized by Pratap Gaurav Kendra – Rashtriya Teerth, functioning under the Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Samiti, is expected to witness participation from distinguished personalities, intellectuals, social leaders, and representatives from across Rajasthan and the country. The gathering will be addressed by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat.
Giant Dome for Thousands of Participants
Program Convener CA Mahavir Chaplot informed that an estimated 25,000 to 30,000 people are expected to attend the event. To accommodate the large gathering, a state-of-the-art dome spread across nearly 200,000 square feet is being constructed at the venue.
More than 20,000 chairs will be arranged inside the dome. Keeping the summer weather in mind, organizers are installing fans, mist-cooling systems, and other visitor-friendly amenities to ensure comfort throughout the event.
Extensive Parking and Visitor Facilities
Special arrangements have been made for guests and delegates arriving from outside Udaipur. Large parking facilities have been designated at Vidya Bhawan and Field Club premises. Dedicated internal transportation services will facilitate movement between parking areas and the event venue.
Adequate arrangements for chilled drinking water and refreshments will also be available at multiple locations.
Celebrating Mewar’s Glorious Legacy
Chaplot stated that the event is being organized with the same enthusiasm and collective spirit with which society celebrates its major festivals. He emphasized that the gathering aims to revive public awareness of Mewar’s glorious history and establish the story of the Haldighati victory on a broader national and global platform.
Vice-Chancellor Inaugurates Central Office
According to Pratap Gaurav Kendra Director Anurag Saxena, a central coordination office for the June 17 event has been established within the Pratap Gaurav Kendra campus.
The office was inaugurated on Thursday evening by Mohanlal Sukhadia University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Kailash Daga and Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena.
Prominent dignitaries present on the occasion included Prof. Bhagwati Prakash Sharma, President of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap Samiti; Vice-President and Office In-charge Dr. Subhash Bhargava; along with Vinod Yadav, Mahesh Shrimali, Madan Ameta, and other organizers.
Senior Police Officials Review Arrangements
Director Saxena informed that Inspector General of Police Gaurav Srivastava and Additional Superintendent of Police Umesh Ojha visited Pratap Gaurav Kendra on Thursday to inspect and review the preparations and logistical arrangements for the mega event.
Special Focus on Medical Facilities
Organizers have also placed significant emphasis on healthcare and emergency services. According to Dr. Rajveer Singh, Convener of the Medical Arrangements Committee, comprehensive medical support will be available at the venue.
An ambulance will remain stationed on-site throughout the event. Doctors, medical students, nursing staff, and emergency response teams from M.B. Hospital will be deployed to ensure immediate assistance whenever required. Each medical team will include at least one female doctor.
More Than 20 Committees Working Round the Clock
To ensure smooth execution of the event, more than 20 specialized committees have been constituted. These include committees for tent construction, stage decoration, publicity material distribution, food arrangements, drinking water facilities, parking management, guest reception, and various other operational responsibilities.
Thousands of volunteers are actively engaged in preparations day and night.
Influencer Meet Scheduled Today
Social Media Committee Convener Manoj Joshi announced that an Influencer Meet will be held on Friday at 5:00 PM in the Padmini Auditorium at Pratap Gaurav Kendra.
Participating influencers will be given a guided tour of the centre. Subsequently, noted historian Dr. Pratap Singh Jhala, Superintendent of Pratap Gaurav Research Centre Dr. Vivek Bhatnagar, and Director Anurag Saxena will present historical facts and insights related to Maharana Pratap and the Victory of the Battle of Haldighati.
Earlier, members of the social media team, including Jaideep Ameta, Vikas Chhajed, Pradeep Vijayvargiya, Rohit Agrawal, Tushar Jindal, Mohit Sanadhya, and Chetan Shakdwipiya, met to discuss various arrangements and outreach strategies for the June 17 event.
The grand assembly is expected to become one of the largest commemorative events dedicated to Maharana Pratap in recent years, celebrating his enduring legacy of courage, sacrifice, and national pride.
