###Sanjay Goyal Appointed First Convener of Anuvrat Legislators’ Forum in Delhi

New Delhi: Following the successful model of the Anuvrat Parliamentary Forum, the first-ever Anuvrat Legislators’ Forum in India has been constituted in Delhi, with Sanjay Goyal being appointed as its inaugural convener. Goyal, who represents Shahdara in the Delhi Legislative Assembly, will be joined by fellow legislators including Mahendra Goyal and Jagdish Goyal.
Notably, Union Minister for Law and Justice Arjun Ram Meghwal has been serving as the Convener of the Anuvrat Parliamentary Forum since 2011. He has also been the Chancellor of Jain Vishva Bharati Institute since May 2022.
The proposal to establish Anuvrat Legislators’ Forums across various states was formulated on May 4 at Jain Vishva Bharati, Ladnun, under the spiritual guidance of Acharya Mahashraman. Under the spiritual supervision of Muni Manan Kumar, similar forums are now planned in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and Madhya Pradesh.
The primary objective of these forums is to bring the ethical principles of the Anuvrat Movement closer to elected representatives and to promote integrity, transparency, harmony, accountability, and moral values in public life.
During a one-day visit to Delhi, Pratap Singh Dugad formally nominated Sanjay Goyal as the first Convener of the Delhi Legislators’ Forum. At a simple ceremony, he administered the Anuvrat Code of Conduct to Goyal and other participating legislators and briefed them on the various initiatives and projects being undertaken by Anuvibha.
Expressing his happiness over the historic formation of the country's first Anuvrat Legislators’ Forum, Dugad described it as a significant step toward strengthening ethical leadership and value-based governance.
He noted that the initiative received valuable support from former Delhi Assembly Speaker Ramnivas Goyal, Anuvibha National Vice-President and National Coordinator of Yogakshem Year Dr. Kusum Luniya, as well as Babulal Dugad and Dr. Dhanpat Luniya.
Former Speaker Ramnivas Goyal described the Anuvrat Movement as a noble ethical campaign capable of bringing positive transformation to public life. Senior office-bearers of Anuvibha welcomed the participating legislators and expressed confidence that under Sanjay Goyal’s leadership, the forum would emerge as a strong platform promoting ethical politics, public welfare, and national interest.
Dr. Kusum Luniya conducted the proceedings and welcomed Sanjay Goyal and the accompanying legislators.
The event was attended by several distinguished members of Anuvibha, including former National General Secretary Bhikham Surana, State In-charge Kusum Surana, Ghaziabad Committee President Vishal Sancheti, Minister Anil Luniya, and numerous other dignitaries and volunteers.
The formation of the Delhi Anuvrat Legislators’ Forum marks an important milestone in expanding the reach of the Anuvrat Movement and embedding ethical values within democratic institutions and public leadership across India.
