###HEALING AT HOME: NITYA SINGHAL’S BOOK ON NATURAL WELLNESS LAUNCHED IN UDAIPUR

Udaipur, A refreshing perspective on health and wellness was unveiled in Udaipur on Sunday with the launch of “Healing at Home – Nitya Ke Nuskhe”, a new book by wellness advocate and IIM Kozhikode alumna Nitya Singhal. The book was launched at Third Space in the presence of leading industrialists, healthcare professionals, and prominent citizens from across the country.

Speaking at the launch, Nitya Singhal highlighted the book’s central message that good health begins at home. She emphasized that everyday lifestyle choices, balanced nutrition, and simple natural remedies play a vital role in maintaining physical and mental well-being.

The book draws inspiration from India’s rich tradition of home-based healing practices and Ayurvedic wisdom. It offers practical guidance on managing more than 30 common health concerns, including migraines, sinus issues, colds, asthma, digestive disorders, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, joint pain, insomnia, immunity-related issues, dengue, and pneumonia through natural and lifestyle-based approaches.

Addressing the gathering, Singhal said that modern society has become increasingly dependent on instant solutions, while nature-based healing requires patience, discipline, and consistency. According to her, the human body possesses a remarkable ability to heal itself when supported with proper care, nutrition, and healthy habits.

She noted that the inspiration for the book originated from traditional family knowledge passed down through generations. Remedies using ingredients such as turmeric, ginger, tulsi, ajwain, honey, cumin, and ghee were once a natural part of daily life and continue to hold significant value in preventive healthcare.

“Healing at Home is not merely a collection of remedies but a guide to understanding the body's signals and adopting a healthier way of living,” she said. “Nature remains the greatest healer; we simply need to reconnect with it.”

Singhal clarified that the book does not advocate replacing modern medicine. Instead, it promotes an integrative approach where natural healing methods complement professional medical treatment. She stressed that expert medical care remains essential for serious illnesses, emergencies, and complex health conditions.

The launch event also featured remarks by industrialists Dilip Khemka, Arvind Singhal, Namita Khemka, and Gaurang Singhal, along with Ayurvedic physician Dr. Diksha Bhavsar, who appreciated the book’s efforts to revive awareness about traditional wellness practices and preventive healthcare.

The programme was coordinated by Kanika Sanghi and Bhuvaneshwari Shaktawat, while the health discussion session was moderated by Shraddha Murdia. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from distinguished guests, wellness enthusiasts, and members of the community.
