Udaipur: The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Regional Office, Udaipur, will organize a benefit distribution program under the Prime Minister’s Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana on June 19, 2026, at the Udaipur Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UCCI) Auditorium. The event will feature a live telecast of the national-level benefit distribution program being held in New Delhi in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
During the ceremony, 127 establishments and 1,141 employees from Udaipur Division will receive benefits under the scheme.
Addressing a press conference at the EPFO Regional Office on Tuesday, Regional Provident Fund Commissioner Prashant Kumar Sinha shared details of the program. He informed that Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Chunnilal Garasia will attend the Udaipur event as the Chief Guest, while Lok Sabha MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat, MLA Phool Singh Meena, and MLA Tarachand Jain will be present as Special Guests.
The event will also be attended by the Divisional Commissioner, District Collector, Superintendent of Police, senior government officials, representatives of industry and trade organizations, employers, labour representatives, employees, and beneficiaries.
A live broadcast of the nationwide benefit distribution ceremony from Vigyan Bhavan, New Delhi, will be screened during the event. Beneficiaries, employers, and representatives from various states across the country will participate virtually. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the beneficiaries and share his vision regarding employment generation and the expansion of social security coverage.
Mr. Sinha explained that the primary objective of the Prime Minister’s Viksit Bharat Rozgar Yojana is to encourage new employment opportunities, promote formal sector employment, and bring a larger workforce under the umbrella of social security. During the program, benefits will be distributed to eligible beneficiaries, while employers and employees will also be informed about the key features and advantages of the scheme.
Under the scheme, 127 establishments in Udaipur Division will receive incentives amounting to approximately ₹99 lakh, while around 1,141 first-time employees will receive benefits totaling nearly ₹50 lakh. It is noteworthy that the scheme provides benefits for up to two years for eligible establishments and up to four years for units operating in the construction sector.
Regional Provident Fund Commissioner-II Raunak Jain stated that all necessary arrangements have been completed by the EPFO Regional Office, Udaipur, to ensure the successful conduct of the program.
