Results of National Competition “Blood Donation: A Great Gift, A Lifeline for Thalassemia Children” Announced

Kota/Ahmedabad: The Ahmedabad unit of Samaras Sansthan Sahitya Srijan Bharat recently organized a poetry symposium, the launch of the collective poetry anthology Samaras Shared Poetry Collection, and a literary felicitation ceremony on the occasion of World Blood Donor Day. During the event, the results of the national-level competition titled “Blood Donation: A Great Gift, A Lifeline for Thalassemia Children” were announced by the institution’s Founder Coordinator, Dr. Mukesh Kumar Vyas ‘Sneheel’.

Sharing the details, National President Dr. Shashi Jain informed that a total of 643 participants from across India submitted poems for the competition. For evaluation purposes, participants were divided into seven state-wise groups.

Rajasthan Group

First Prize: Ram Vaishnav (Pali), Kumar Gaurav (Dholpur), Rashmi Garg (Udaipur)
Second Prize: Aditi Sharma (Jhalawar), Rashmi Vaibhav Garg (Kota)
Third Prize: Sunita Jain Parakh (Ajmer), Nisha Jain (Alwar), Bharti Jain (Chittorgarh)

Madhya Pradesh Group

First Prize: Dr. Prashant Jhamliya (Sehore), Dr. Sakshi Jain Kaligal
Second Prize: Seema Singh (Bhopal), Dr. Rashmi Pandey ‘Sushi’ (Jabalpur)
Third Prize: Chirag Jain ‘Chaitanya’ (Neemuch), Sarita Jakatle (Indore)

Gujarat and Maharashtra Group

First Prize: Dr. Rapli Bharat Bhavnani (Mumbai), Dr. Vijayalakshmi Singh (Ahmedabad), Dr. Rashmi Bardhanch (Mumbai)
Second Prize: Dr. Surashramila Agrawal (Mumbai), Kanhaiya Kumar (Ahmedabad), Vandana Shastri ‘Rahi’ (Gandhinagar), Vandana Panvant (Ahmedabad)
Third Prize: Preeti Mananani (Pune), Ajay Yadav (Pune)

Uttar Pradesh Group

During the ceremony, the prestigious Samaras Srijan Gaurav Samman 2026 was conferred upon literary contributors who played a significant role in the publication of the anthology. The awardees included Surendra Sharma ‘Bashar’, Dr. Vijay Pratap Singh, Shivali Thakar, Renu Sharma ‘Shraddha’, Jumman Bezar Ahmadabadi, Vijay Purohit Biju, Sugandh Mishra, Chandra Prakash Gupta ‘Chandra’ Bundela, Dr. Uma Singh Kisalay, Dr. Bhagiya Khamosh, Hirdesh Singh, Basant Roop Singh Thakur, Premanshu Ram Mehta ‘Prem’, and Sudhanshu Shekhar Bakshi.
