Consumer Protection Organization Launches Membership Drive, Emphasizes Consumer Awareness Camps Across Rajasthan

Vigilance is the Best Protection in the Digital Age: Consumer Protection Organization

Udaipur: As part of the organizational expansion campaign initiated by the Rajasthan State Consumer Protection Organization, an important meeting was held at the Udaipur office to strengthen the organization's outreach and consumer welfare initiatives.

Addressing the gathering, National President Dr. Rajshree Gandhi emphasized the need to strengthen the organization at the grassroots level. She stated that district teams and office bearers must actively organize consumer awareness programs to understand the issues faced by consumers and work continuously toward their effective resolution through appropriate action and guidance.

Dr. Gandhi also conveyed the message of environmental conservation and urged members to participate in tree plantation drives, highlighting the importance of protecting the environment as a shared social responsibility.

State President Hemant Jha informed the attendees that consumer awareness camps would soon be organized across all districts of Rajasthan. He added that active and dedicated office bearers would be encouraged and given greater responsibilities to further strengthen the organization.

During the meeting, Zubin Mehta delivered an informative session on cyber security. He advised consumers to remain cautious while conducting online transactions, avoid clicking on unknown links, and immediately report any online or banking fraud to the concerned authorities or through the cyber crime portal.

The newly appointed office bearers were welcomed with ceremonial scarves and identity cards by National Coordinator Shirish Nath Mathur, State Vice President Paras Khurdiya, District President Praveen Nahar, and District Coordinator Suresh Paliwal.

Prominent participants in the meeting included Sanjeev Sharma, Ishan Sharma, Nitin Jain, Nivedita Joshi, Piyush Khatod, Harsh Raj Suthar, Dr. Sangeeta Tiwari, Zubin Mehta, Advocate Vikas Tripathi, Premlata Mehta, Vivek Dalawat, Shailesh Jain, Laxmi Goswami, Sangeeta Sharma, Dr. Mamta Saxena, Vaibhav Saxena, M. S. Verma, and Rishi Sukhwal.
