Reflecting the university's commitment to promoting India's rich cultural heritage and the inspiring vision of Hon'ble President Dr. Sanjay Sinha, three talented students from Sir Padampat Singhania University, Udaipur proudly represented the university at the 11th International SPIC MACAY Convention, held at IIT Hyderabad from May 25th to 31st, 2026. The delegation was accompanied by Faculty, Er. Dipesh Vaya.
Prof. (Lt.) (Dr.) D. S. Chouhan, Deputy Dean (Student Welfare) and SPIC MACAY Coordinator, SPSU, apprised that the university delegation included the following students:

The week-long convention brought together nearly 1,600 participants from India and across the world, providing an exceptional platform for cultural exchange, artistic learning, and experiential engagement with India's rich heritage.
Participants immersed themselves in a wide spectrum of traditional and classical art forms through intensive workshops and demonstrations, including Mata ni Pachedi, Bharatanatyam, Kathak, Western Classical Music, Tarkashi Art, Violin, Pandvani, Gurbani, Hatha Yoga, Mohiniattam, Odissi, Pung Cholom, Bagh Printing, Carnatic Vocal, Sattriya, Koodiyattam, Natural Dye Block Printing, Meditation, Dhrupad, Hindustani Vocal, Puppetry, Miniature Painting, and Kuchipudi.
The SPSU team enthusiastically participated in several intensive sessions, including Mughal Miniature Painting and Kathak, gaining valuable exposure to India's diverse artistic traditions while contributing to the vibrant cultural atmosphere of the convention. Their participation reflects SPSU's continued commitment to nurturing holistic development, cultural appreciation, and experiential learning beyond the classroom.
