Public Dialogue and Lecture on Inflation, Unemployment and Social Justice Organized on Rahul Gandhi’s Birthday

Udaipur: On the occasion of the birthday of Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, a public dialogue (Jan Chaupal) and lecture on the theme “Inflation, Unemployment and Social Justice” was organized at Pratyush Bhawan under the leadership of Pankaj Kumar Sharma, General Secretary and Spokesperson of the Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee.

Addressing the gathering, Pankaj Kumar Sharma said that the common citizen in the country is currently facing serious challenges such as inflation, unemployment, and social inequality. He stated that the continuously rising cost of living has disrupted household budgets, with increasing expenses in essential sectors including food, education, healthcare, and transportation placing a direct burden on the public.

Sharma said that the youth are among the worst affected by unemployment. Millions of educated young people are struggling to find jobs, while the lack of employment opportunities and persistent delays in recruitment processes have created an atmosphere of frustration and uncertainty among them.

He emphasized that social justice is not merely a political slogan but the fundamental spirit of the Indian Constitution. Providing equal opportunities and dignity to weaker sections of society, including Dalits, Tribals, backward classes, women, minorities, and other marginalized groups, is essential for a healthy democracy. He added that Rahul Gandhi has consistently raised issues concerning youth, students, and social justice. Referring to Gandhi’s recent visit to Kota, Sharma noted that he had seriously addressed concerns related to students and young people.

Sharma further stated that ensuring employment, quality education, and equal opportunities for the youth is the primary responsibility of any government. He stressed the need for effective measures to control inflation, create new employment opportunities, and strengthen the implementation of constitutional principles of social justice. Development, he said, can be considered meaningful only when its benefits reach the last person in society. He also announced that a nationwide public awareness campaign on these issues would be carried out under Rahul Gandhi’s leadership.

During the programme, several young participants shared their views. Ashok Rao stated that Rahul Gandhi has consistently been a strong voice for the youth. He highlighted Gandhi’s stand on issues such as the NEET paper leak and his efforts to bring concerns related to education and employment to the national forefront.

Shalini Verma described Rahul Gandhi as an educated, sensitive, and capable young leader. Extending her birthday wishes, she expressed hope that he would continue to champion youth-related issues across the country.

Asha Jat also shared her thoughts on Rahul Gandhi’s personality and ideology and conveyed her birthday greetings.

At the conclusion of the event, Pramod Kumawat spoke about Rahul Gandhi’s political journey, his struggles, and his commitment to youth welfare. He also thanked all those present for their participation.

The programme concluded with participants wishing Rahul Gandhi good health, a long life, and a bright future, while reaffirming their commitment to continue raising issues related to social justice and public welfare under his leadership.

Among those present were Nandini Sahu, Pintu Khan Pathan, Mansingh, Prakash Chaudhary, Mukesh Chaudhary, Mahendra, and Kastura Pal Kaur, along with a large number of young participants.
