Udaipur: On the occasion of the martyrdom anniversary of the fifth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj, a Chabeel Seva (distribution of chilled sweet water) was organized with devotion and reverence by the Dhan Dhan Baba Deep Singh Ji Seva Samiti, Udaipur.
Committee President Balkaran Singh stated that Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj made the supreme sacrifice for humanity, truth, tolerance, and the protection of faith. He said that the service programme was organized in his sacred memory to spread the Guru’s message of selfless service, remembrance of God, and sacrifice among the masses.
The event was held at Atrangi Café, Lakecity Mall Road, Subhash Nagar, Udaipur, where a large number of devotees and local residents gathered to pay tribute to the revered Guru. During the programme, participants reflected upon the teachings of Guru Sahib and emphasized that service to humanity is the highest form of religion.
Media Coordinator Professor Vimal Sharma informed that the continuous Chabeel Seva was conducted from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., during which chilled sweet water was respectfully served to every passerby.
The service was enthusiastically carried out by committee members including Balkaran Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Dr. Shraddha Gattani, Anmol Singh, Rakshit, Vinay Singh, Parvinder, Mahipal, and Kishan.
Office bearers of the committee stated that the martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev Ji inspires people to walk on the path of truth, practice selfless service, and promote love, brotherhood, and harmony in society. Organized under the message “Seva Hi Simran Hai” (Service is Remembrance of God), the Chabeel Seva received enthusiastic support and participation from people belonging to all sections of society.
