Ajmer Divisional Railway Users’ Consultative Committee Meeting Concluded
The meeting of the Divisional Railway Users’ Consultative Committee (DRUCC) of Ajmer Division was held at the Divisional Railway Office, Ajmer. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Raju Bhutada, Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) and Chairman of the Divisional Railway Users’ Consultative Committee.
Representatives from various trade and passenger organizations, public representatives, and members nominated by the Ministry of Railways from across the geographical jurisdiction of Ajmer Division participated in the meeting and engaged in discussions on matters related to railway services and passenger amenities.
At the outset, Mr. Mihir Dev, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager and Secretary of the Committee, welcomed all members. During his address, Chairman and Divisional Railway Manager Mr. Raju Bhutada briefed the participants about the division’s ongoing special initiatives, commercial activities, and achievements.
The representatives appreciated the efforts made by the divisional administration towards enhancing passenger amenities and also put forward several suggestions. Key issues discussed included additional train stoppages and extensions based on passenger demand, introduction of new train services, enhancement of existing rail services, augmentation of coach capacity, installation of lifts and escalators, increasing the number of ticket vending machines, construction of Road Over Bridges (ROBs) and Road Under Bridges (RUBs), expansion of platform shelters, opening of additional ticket counters, and ensuring adequate drinking water facilities at railway stations.
Responding to the suggestions, Mr. Raju Bhutada assured the members that the railway administration would carefully examine their recommendations and make every effort to implement feasible proposals in the interest of passengers.

Six committee members representing Masuda, Beawar, Sumerpur–Jawai Bandh, Falna, Bhilwara, and Udaipur attended the meeting.

On behalf of the Railway Administration, Additional Divisional Railway Manager Mr. Vikas Bura, all branch officers of the division, Assistant Commercial Manager Mr. Rajkumar Swarnkar, along with other railway officers and staff members, were also present.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Mr. Mihir Dev expressed his gratitude to all members for their participation and for their valuable suggestions aimed at improving facilities and services for railway passengers.
