Sri Ganganagar: District In-Charge Secretary and Divisional Commissioner of Bikaner, Vishram Meena, chaired a review meeting at the Collectorate Auditorium on Saturday to assess the progress of various flagship schemes, budget announcements, and priority initiatives of the State Government. He directed all departments to ensure the effective implementation of schemes and budget announcements within the prescribed timelines, in line with the vision of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, so that citizens can receive maximum benefits from government programs.
Reviewing the progress of the ongoing urban and rural service camps in the district, Meena emphasized that departmental officials should resolve public grievances and complete pending works on the spot. The meeting also reviewed the implementation of budget announcements, Chief Minister’s announcements monitored through CMIS, commitments outlined in the government’s manifesto, and other state government directives.
Officials were instructed to ensure the prompt and quality disposal of complaints received through the Rajasthan Sampark Portal, District-Level Vigilance Committee, and public grievance hearings conducted at district, sub-division, and panchayat levels.
The meeting included a detailed review of the water supply arrangements of the Public Health Engineering Department, electricity supply by the Energy Department, MGNREGA and other schemes under the Rural Development and Panchayati Raj Department, land allotment and pending revenue cases handled by the Revenue Department, infrastructure development in the Education and Medical Departments, food security schemes of the Food and Civil Supplies Department, and welfare schemes being implemented by the Social Justice and Empowerment Department for weaker sections of society.
Additionally, Meena directed officials to undertake large-scale plantation activities under the Mission Hariyalo Rajasthan campaign. He also reviewed the construction works of the Public Works Department, groundwater conservation efforts of the Water Resources Department, sanitation arrangements of urban local bodies, farmer welfare schemes of the Agriculture and Horticulture Departments, and programs being implemented by the Industries, Home, Women and Child Development, Forest, Transport, Higher and Technical Education, Labour and Skill Development, and Youth Affairs and Sports Departments.
The progress of various Central and State Government development schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) and Pradhan Mantri Vishwakarma Yojana, was also reviewed. Special emphasis was placed on the implementation of the e-file system and the speedy disposal of official files and correspondence.
District Collector Dr. Amit Yadav assured the meeting that coordinated efforts by all departments are being made to ensure the effective implementation of government schemes and the timely resolution of public grievances.
Among those present at the meeting were Superintendent of Police Harishankar, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Subhash Kumar, Chief Executive Officer of Zila Parishad Girdhar, and other district-level officials.
