Yoga Practice Held at Shilpgram

Udaipur: The West Zone Cultural Centre (WZCC), Udaipur, organized a yoga session at Shilpgram on the occasion of the 12th International Day of Yoga and World Music Day. The session was conducted by Mrs. Bharti Meena, who guided participants through various yoga postures and exercises. Artists and members of the public actively participated in the program. This year's Yoga Day theme was “Yoga for Healthy Ageing.”

Dr. Ashwin M. Dalvi, Director of the West Zone Cultural Centre, Udaipur, informed that in accordance with the guidelines of the Ministry of AYUSH and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, the Centre organized a yoga practice session in the courtyard of Shilpgram on Sunday, June 21.

During the nearly one-hour session, yoga instructors Bharti Meena and Suman Kumawat led folk artists, artisans, officers, and employees of the Centre through various yoga asanas, yogic postures, and Bhramari Pranayama. From the stage, Bharti Meena explained the physical benefits of each practice and demonstrated them in a simple and accessible manner. Suman Kumawat assisted by performing the yoga exercises, making it easier for participants to follow and practice.

The program was conducted by Siddhant Bhatnagar. At the conclusion of the event, Deputy Director (Programmes) Pawan Amarawat expressed gratitude to all participants. All officers and staff members of the Centre were present on the occasion.
