NCC Pre-Vayu Sainik, Drone Training and Combined Annual Training Camp Concludes Successfully at MPUAT

Udaipur: The Pre-Vayu Sainik Camp-I, Drone Training Camp, and Combined Annual Training Camp (CATC), organized jointly by Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, and 6 Raj Air Squadron NCC, Udaipur, concluded successfully at the CTAE campus. The camps were conducted from June 11 to June 20, 2026.

The closing ceremony was graced by the Vice-Chancellor of MPUAT, Dr. Pratap Singh, as the Chief Guest, while Dr. R. L. Soni attended as the Guest of Honour.

Addressing the gathering, Dr. Pratap Singh emphasized that the National Cadet Corps (NCC) serves as a powerful platform for developing discipline, leadership qualities, self-confidence, and a spirit of national service among youth. He stated that during national emergencies and disaster situations, NCC cadets act as an important support force for the country. He encouraged cadets to always place national interest above all else and remain ready to serve the nation.

Dr. Singh further remarked that NCC is not limited to military training alone; it also inspires young people to become responsible citizens. Appreciating innovative initiatives such as the Pre-Vayu Sainik Camp and Drone Training Camp, he noted that knowledge of modern technologies equips youth to face future challenges effectively.

During the camps, cadets received practical training in range firing, skeet shooting, drill and marching, tent pitching, map reading, personality development, leadership skills, disaster management, aeromodelling, aircraft operations, and drone technology.

On the occasion, Wing Commander Natraj Dagur, Commanding Officer of 6 Raj Air Squadron NCC, Udaipur, expressed gratitude to the MPUAT administration, university officials and staff, the NCC staff of 6 Raj Air Squadron, all Caretaker Officers (CTOs), Associate NCC Officers (ANOs), and NCC cadets from the Air, Army, and Navy Wings for their valuable support in the successful organization of the camps.

The ceremony was attended by university officials, NCC staff of 6 Raj Air Squadron, CTOs, ANOs, and a large number of NCC cadets.
