Udaipur: Anjuman Taleemul Islam, Udaipur, organized the grand “Parwaz” Udaipur District-Level Muslim Talent Felicitation Ceremony 2026 at Sukhadia Rang Manch, Nagar Nigam, Udaipur.
More than 350 participants who achieved excellence in education, higher education, religious studies, sports, administrative services, community service, and various other fields were honored under different categories in recognition of their outstanding accomplishments.
The Chief Guest of the event was former Udaipur District Collector Mr. Tarachand Meena, while the ceremony was presided over by Mukhtar Qureshi, President of Anjuman Taleemul Islam.
Special guests included Dr. Wasim Khan (Director, RNT College Group), Ikram Qureshi (State Spokesperson, Minority Morcha), Abdul Qadeer Khan (Former District Excise Officer), Asrar Ahmed (Former State Minister), Haji Aslam Rangwala (Social Worker), Shakeel Hussain (Former District Sports Officer), Laiq Ali Khan (Seva Tanzim), and Sarafat Khan (Former President of Anjuman).
The program commenced with the recitation of the Holy Quran. This was followed by a welcome address delivered by Vice President Farooq Qureshi, who greeted the distinguished guests, participants, and attendees.
Dr. Syed Irshad Ali, Coordinator of the event, introduced the “Parwaz” initiative and explained that its objective is to recognize talent, hard work, academic achievements, and community service within society while inspiring the younger generation to strive for excellence.
Speakers at the event emphasized the importance of education, skill development, sports, religious learning, and social service. They highlighted that the path to social progress lies in education, positive thinking, and communal harmony. The initiative by Anjuman Taleemul Islam was widely appreciated as an inspiring step for the youth.
In his address, Advocate Mustafa Sheikh, Secretary of Anjuman, shared the organization’s future vision and announced plans to establish the “Anjuman Taleemul Islam English Medium School” in Udaipur. He appealed to educators, parents, social workers, philanthropists, and members of the community to support this ambitious educational project.
In his presidential address, Mukhtar Qureshi presented a detailed report on the achievements and initiatives undertaken during the first year of the new executive committee. He highlighted significant efforts in the fields of education, healthcare, social development, and community welfare, which have positively impacted society.
During the ceremony, talented students, professional degree holders, Huffaz, Islamic scholars, sportspersons, youth selected for administrative services, and individuals engaged in community service were honored with trophies and certificates of appreciation.
Joint Secretary Izhar Hussain delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the guests, participants, supporters, donors, and volunteers for their contributions to the success of the event.
The program was skillfully compered by Mohammad Asif Chhipa (Co-Coordinator) and Firoz Bashir.
The ceremony witnessed the presence of a large number of parents, students, community leaders, and religious scholars, including Maulana Sobdar Alam, Hafiz Azam Rizvi, Shahar Qazi Hamid Raza, Mufti Ahmed Hussain, along with members of the Anjuman cabinet such as Tanveer Chishti, Advocate Mohammad Shahzad, Tauqeer Raza, Anees Raza, Anees Abbasi, Fakhruddin Sheikh, Mohammad Irshad, Advocate Adil, and members of the General House.
The event concluded with a collective resolve to continue organizing such inspiring programs in the future, aimed at encouraging talent, educational excellence, and community development.
