DPS Student Aryan Wins Three International Medals at World Ability Sport Youth Para Games, Brings Glory to India

Udaipur: Aryan Sharma, a talented badminton player and a Class XII student of Delhi Public School (DPS), Udaipur, has brought pride to the nation, the state, the city of Udaipur, and his school by winning three medals, including two gold medals and one silver medal, at the World Ability Sport Youth Para Games 2026 held in Mersin, Turkey, from June 18 to 21, 2026.

Competing in the Under-21 category, Aryan delivered an outstanding performance against participants from around the world. The prestigious event witnessed the participation of more than 100 athletes from 26 countries.

Congratulating Aryan on his remarkable achievement, Pro Vice Chairman Mr. Govind Agrawal expressed immense pride and stated that Aryan is currently the youngest National Badminton Champion in the SL-4 category across the Junior, Sub-Junior, and Senior divisions. He described Aryan’s success as a matter of great pride for the entire nation and a source of inspiration for aspiring athletes.

Principal Mr. Sanjay Narwariya also lauded Aryan’s achievement, stating that he showcased exceptional talent on the global stage by winning gold medals in Singles and Men’s Doubles events, along with a silver medal in Mixed Doubles.

The school’s Pro Vice Chairman Mr. Govind Agrawal, Principal Mr. Sanjay Narwariya, Vice Principal Mr. Rajesh Dhabhai, and all staff members extended their heartfelt congratulations to Aryan and his parents, wishing him continued success and a bright future in the field of sports.
