DPS Shooters Selected for National-Level Championship
Udaipur: Talented shooters from Delhi Public School (DPS), Udaipur, have earned national-level selection after delivering impressive performances at the recently held 24th District Rifle and Pistol Shooting Championship in Jaipur.
In the girls’ 10-meter Air Rifle event, Class XII student Manushree Choudhary secured a bronze medal with an excellent score of 395. Continuing the school’s success, Krisha Soni of Class X scored 387, while Ilina Nainavati of Class IX achieved 379, showcasing remarkable talent and determination.
In the boys’ 10-meter Air Rifle category, Adamya Bhargava (Class X) scored 378, while Rudra Aditya (Class VIII) scored 385 and Ishaan Mehra secured 380. Other notable performers included Tridhaman Singh Jhala (361), Dakshraj Singh Chundawat (378), Keshavraj Singh Jhala (375), and Hotabyaditya Singh Jhala along with Tejasvi Choudhary, both scoring 361.
In the pistol shooting events, Kartik Raj Singh Rathore achieved a score of 350 in the 10-meter Air Pistol event and 300/257 in the 25-meter Air Pistol competition. Vinay Pratap Singh Jadon recorded 300/260 in the 25-meter Pistol event.
Demonstrating exceptional concentration, discipline, and hard work, all these shooters have qualified for the National-Level Shooting Championship, scheduled to be held in Dehradun next month.
Expressing his delight, DPS Pro Vice Chairman Govind Agrawal said that all the selected shooters received professional training at the school’s shooting range under the guidance of skilled coaches. He described the achievement as a matter of great pride for the institution.
On this remarkable accomplishment, Pro Vice Chairman Govind Agrawal, Principal Sanjay Narwariya, and Vice Principal Rajesh Dhabhai congratulated the students and extended their best wishes for success in the upcoming national championship.
