Massive Wave of Devotion Marks Grand Procession Organized by Jai Mahesh Pragati Seva Sansthan
Seven Decorated Carriages, Camels, Horses and Enthusiastic Devotees Add Grandeur to the Religious Celebration
Udaipur: A unique blend of devotion, spirituality, and community spirit was witnessed in Sectors 3 and 4 as Jai Mahesh Pragati Seva Sansthan organized a grand religious celebration that attracted a large number of devotees.
The event commenced on Tuesday morning at the Shiva Temple in Sector-3 with a sacred Maha Abhishek of Lord Shiva. Twenty-one couples participated in the rituals, offering prayers and seeking blessings amid the chanting of Vedic hymns. Following the Maha Aarti, a Mahaprasad distribution program continued late into the night.
According to Sansthan President Ramesh Chandra Porwal, the highlight of the celebration was a magnificent religious procession that began from the Shiva Temple in the evening. The procession passed through Nehru Hostel, Hotel Pride, Boys Empire Road, Guru Nanak School, and the main Sector-4 intersection before returning to the temple.
Devotees warmly welcomed the procession with flower showers, while chants praising Lord Shiva created a deeply spiritual atmosphere throughout the route.
The grand procession featured seven beautifully decorated horse-drawn carriages, horses, camel carts, and DJ bands, which became major attractions for participants and spectators alike. Devotional music and the enthusiasm of Shiva devotees transformed the entire area into a vibrant center of faith and celebration.
The procession concluded at the Mahesh Seva Samiti premises, where a grand Maha Aarti was performed amid resounding chants and prayers. A large gathering of devotees participated in the ceremony, followed by the distribution of Mahaprasad.
On the occasion, Gopal Lal Chandak, Secretary of Jai Mahesh Pragati Seva Sansthan, encouraged the organization’s volunteers and youth members to continue contributing actively to future religious and social initiatives. He stated that the institution’s success is the result of the dedication, commitment, and collective efforts of its members.
He also inspired young people to take a more active role in social and religious activities and appreciated the efforts of dedicated volunteers. Members present at the event pledged to continue serving society and organizing successful religious programs with the same spirit of unity and enthusiasm in the future.
