Udaipur: An awareness programme on the theme "Drug-Free India" was organized at the Sai Tirupati University campus under the joint aegis of Venkateshwara College of Nursing and the National Service Scheme (NSS). The programme was led by Dr. Devendra Jain, Registrar of Sai Tirupati University, Dr. Kanupriya Tiwari, Deputy Registrar, and Dr. Vijay Singh Rawat, Principal.
During the programme, Sudarshan Singh, Narpat Singh Chouhan, representatives of Arogya Seva Sansthan, along with CI Kavarpal Singh and his team from the Anti-Narcotics Task Force, educated students about the harmful effects of substance abuse and encouraged them to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle.
The speakers urged the youth to stay away from drugs and actively spread awareness within society about the importance of a drug-free life. Participants also took a pledge to contribute towards building a Drug-Free India.
The programme was attended by Dr. Chandra Prakash Dekhawat, Dr. Geetanjali Sharma, Dr. Archala, Rupendra Singh Shaktawat, Tanveer Khan, and Giriraj Charan.
The successful organization of the event was made possible through the significant efforts of Deepak Teli and Anand Trivedi, Programme Officers of the NSS Cell, Sai Tirupati University.
