Kulwinder Singh Receives State's Highest Honour in Statistics for Outstanding Contribution

Sri Ganganagar: Mr. Kulwinder Singh, Assistant Statistics Officer posted in the Office of the Chief Planning Officer, District Collectorate, Sri Ganganagar, was honoured with the prestigious Professor P.C. Mahalanobis Award on Monday, marking the 20th National Statistics Day.

The award was presented by Rajasthan Deputy Chief Minister Mr. Prem Chand Bairwa at a state-level समारोह held at the Constitution Club of Rajasthan in Jaipur.

The Professor P.C. Mahalanobis Award is the highest honour conferred by the Rajasthan Government in the field of statistics. Mr. Kulwinder Singh was selected in recognition of his outstanding administrative and statistical contributions.

He played a pivotal role in preparing the evacuation action plan during Operation Sindoor, the Civil Defence Action Plan, resource mapping, and the District Disaster Management Plan.

In addition, Mr. Singh made significant contributions to the effective monitoring of the State Government's flagship schemes, departmental programmes, and budget announcements. His work also included statistical evaluation of development projects and the compilation, analysis, and preparation of key reports and summaries for the district administration.

The District Administration and officials of the Office of the Chief Planning Officer congratulated Mr. Kulwinder Singh on this distinguished achievement and wished him continued success in his future endeavours.
