Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan pays courtesy call to Speaker Vasudev Devnani

Jaipur. Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan paid a courtesy call to Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani in Jaipur on Monday. The two Speakers had a cordial and fruitful discussion on various contemporary issues related to Indian culture, democratic values, parliamentary traditions, innovations in legislatures, and public welfare. Strengthening parliamentary institutions and further promoting the exchange of experiences and best practices between states were also discussed.
Upon his arrival at the State Assembly, Speaker Vasudev Devnani welcomed Harvinder Kalyan with a bouquet of flowers and presented him with a copy of the book "Two Years of Excellence and Innovation" published by the Assembly Secretariat, a replica of the Rajasthan Assembly logo, and publications related to the Rajasthan Assembly Rules and Committees. Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan also presented Devnani with copies of the Haryana Assembly Rules and publications related to Assembly Committees.
Speaker Devnani gave Kalyan a tour of the Rajasthan Assembly House, its magnificent building, and the Political Narrative Museum. Kalyan praised the Assembly House's modern facilities, the House's functioning, Rajasthan's democratic and parliamentary heritage preserved in the Narrative Museum, and the innovations made under Vasudev Devnani's leadership, calling them exemplary for other legislatures.
Speaker Kalyan said that his visit to the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly would be unforgettable. He witnessed a glimpse of the great culture of this land of heroes, along with a glimpse of the journey of democracy and its great traditions. Kalyan described the museum as wonderful and called it a source of inspiration for future generations. Devnani also took Kalyan on a tour of the Constitution Club of Rajasthan.
Earlier, Haryana Assembly Speaker Harvinder Kalyan reached the official residence of Speaker Vasudev Devnani in Civil Lines on Monday morning. Here, Devnani warmly welcomed and congratulated Kalyan by presenting him with a bouquet of flowers and a scarf. He also presented Kalyan with a copy of his self-written book "Atal Drishti of Sanatan Sanskriti".
