Udaipur: Renowned Udaipur-based author Paritosh Chandra Duggar has added another significant milestone to his literary journey by presenting a copy of his latest book, Lives of Life: A Collection of Flash Fiction, to Karnataka Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot at Raj Bhavan, Bengaluru.
During the meeting, Duggar introduced the Governor to the book's theme and literary significance. The collection features 121 flash fiction stories, each offering concise yet impactful narratives that explore human relationships, human nature, moral values, life's struggles, and everyday experiences. Through its simple and engaging language, the book captures the diverse emotions and realities of life in a thought-provoking manner.
Speaking about the book, the author said it is designed to appeal to readers of all age groups, from young adults to senior citizens. He also described it as an ideal literary gift, suitable for readers who appreciate meaningful and inspiring short fiction.
Governor Thawar Chand Gehlot appreciated both the book and Duggar's contribution to literature, commending his efforts in enriching the creative genre of flash fiction. He congratulated the author on the publication and wished him continued success in his future literary endeavors.
Duggar also announced that the book will be formally launched at the Shantiniketan Literature Festival in West Bengal. In addition, the first launch event in Udaipur is scheduled to be held in July. The achievement is being regarded as a matter of pride for Udaipur's literary community, further strengthening the city's reputation on the national literary stage.
