Udaipur: A melodious musical evening organised by the city's renowned cultural organisation Suron Ki Mandali marked the celebration of Doctors’ Day at Madhushree Banquet Hall, Ashoka Palace. The event brought together doctors and music enthusiasts on a common platform, where their soulful performances created a captivating atmosphere that resonated with applause throughout the evening.
Founder-President Mukesh Madhvani said the programme was organised to honour the medical fraternity for its invaluable service to society while also providing a platform to showcase the hidden musical talents of doctors. A total of 42 performers presented evergreen Hindi film songs, delighting the audience with memorable renditions.
The evening's Chief Guest, former State Minister Harish Rajani, performed the classic song "Jo Tumko Ho Pasand Wahi Baat Karenge." The programme commenced with a graceful performance of "Rimjhim Gire Sawan, Sulag Sulag Jaaye Mann" by NRI Rashida Ji, the Guest of Honour.
The musical performances continued with Dr. Rajeev Pandya presenting "Dil Ka Aalam Main Kya Bataun Tujhe, Mehboob Mere." Dr. Upvan Pandya and Dr. Sharva Pandya enthralled the audience with the duet "Raatein Ye Mausam, Nadi Ka Kinara" followed by "Vaada Kar Le Sajna Tere Bina Main Na Rahoon." Dr. Gaurav Chhabra performed "Gunche Lage Hain Kehne," Dr. Nishant Aswani sang "Na Tum Humein Jaano, Na Hum Tumhein Jaane," while Dr. Jagdish Jeengar rendered "Humne Tumse Pyaar Kiya Hai Jitna, Kaun Karega Utna."
Programme Convener Ramesh Datwani informed that the event began with a Saraswati Vandana presented by young Aradhya Vaishnav along with members of Nari Shakti. Aradhya later performed "Sheesha Ho Ya Dil Ho, Aakhir Toot Jaata Hai." Other notable performances included Vijay Singh with "Aate Jaate Khoobsurat Aawara Sadkon Pe," Surendra Dutt Vyas with "Ye Nain Dare-Dare, Ye Jaam Bhare-Bhare," Sangeeta Goswami with "Jo Tumko Ho Pasand," Devendra Singh with "Aur Is Dil Mein Kya Rakha Hai," and Geeta Singh Rathore with "Mujhe Tum Mil Gaye Ho." Nearly 30 other doctors and music lovers also presented popular melodies, making the evening a grand musical celebration.
Among those present were Dr. Mukesh Garg, Dr. Deepmala Chaudhary, Dr. Shakti Singh, Dr. Anupama, Dr. Neha Kishnani, Dr. Juhi Bhambhani, Dr. Bhagchand Ji, and Dr. Juhi Nishat Aswani, along with several distinguished members of the medical fraternity. All participating doctors were felicitated with a ceremonial stole and memento in recognition of their service.
The event was successfully organised with the support of Co-Conveners Er. R.K. Nebhnani, C.P. Gandharv, Madhu Kevalya, Rajlesh Jeengar, Senior Vice-President Er. C.P. Jain, Mohan Soni, Vice-President Kailash Kevalya, and Secretary Arun Chaubisa. Dinner was arranged for all guests and participants. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Co-Convener Er. R.K. Nebhnani, who expressed gratitude to everyone for making the event a memorable success.
