Live Telecast of Greenfield Refinery Inauguration and Chief Minister's Employment Festival Held with Great Enthusiasm in Udaipur
Udaipur: The live telecast of the inauguration of the country's landmark Greenfield Refinery at Balotra, graced by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, along with the Chief Minister's Employment Festival, was viewed with great enthusiasm and dignity across Udaipur district on Saturday. The district-level programme was organized at the Sukhadia Rangmanch Auditorium of the Udaipur Municipal Corporation, where a large number of public representatives, government officials, newly appointed employees, and citizens participated. The live telecast was also arranged at every block and Gram Panchayat across the district, enabling people in rural areas to witness the historic occasion.
The chief guest at the district-level event was Tribal Area Development Minister Babulal Kharadi. Other distinguished guests included Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia, Lok Sabha MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat, Udaipur Rural MLA Phool Singh Meena, social worker Gajpal Singh, and several other public representatives. Senior officials present included Divisional Commissioner Pragya Keval Ramani, District Collector Gaurav Agrawal, Additional District Magistrate (Administration) Deependra Singh Rathore, Additional District Magistrate (City) Jitendra Ojha, Zila Parishad ACEO Virmaram, Chief District Education Officer Pratibha Gupta, and officers from various departments. The programme commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, followed by a traditional Mewari welcome for the dignitaries.
During the programme, more than 1,500 newly appointed government employees from the district were warmly welcomed with welcome kits. As a symbolic gesture, five newly recruited employees were presented with appointment letters on stage by the dignitaries, who also extended their best wishes for their future. The auditorium reflected an atmosphere of excitement and celebration among the newly appointed personnel.

Addressing the gathering, Cabinet Minister Babulal Kharadi said that Rajasthan has entered a new era of development, good governance, and employment generation. He stated that the State Government is committed to providing employment opportunities to youth through transparent and time-bound recruitment processes. Describing the inauguration of the Balotra Greenfield Refinery as a new chapter in Rajasthan's industrial growth, he said that the Employment Festival has become an effective platform for turning the aspirations of young people into reality. He urged the newly appointed employees to serve the public with dedication, honesty, and sensitivity.
Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasia said that the coordinated efforts of the Central and State Governments have accelerated the pace of development in Rajasthan. He described the Employment Festival as an innovative initiative that strengthens the confidence of young people. He encouraged the newly appointed employees to discharge their responsibilities with sincerity, prioritize public service, and play an important role in ensuring that the benefits of government welfare schemes reach the last person in society.
Lok Sabha MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat said that creating employment opportunities for youth is one of the highest priorities of any government, and the event stands as a testament to that commitment. He noted that the Balotra Greenfield Refinery will significantly strengthen the state's economy while creating extensive employment opportunities. He expressed confidence that the newly appointed employees would further enhance the positive image of the administration through their efficiency, discipline, and spirit of public service.
The gathering was also addressed by MLA Phool Singh Meena and other dignitaries. Concluding the programme, the guests congratulated the newly appointed employees, wished them success in their careers, and called upon everyone to work collectively towards the continued development and welfare of Rajasthan.
