###Cancer Awareness and Early Screening Key to Saving Lives, Say Experts
UDAIPUR, India,Raising awareness about cancer and promoting early detection are the most effective ways to reduce cancer-related deaths, medical experts said during a cancer awareness programme organized by the Inner Wheel Club of Udaipur at PIMS City Center in Meera Nagar.
Doctors emphasized that early symptoms of cancer should never be ignored, as timely diagnosis and treatment can significantly improve survival rates. They encouraged people to adopt healthy lifestyles through balanced nutrition, regular exercise, avoiding tobacco and other addictions, and undergoing periodic health screenings.
Addressing the gathering, newly elected Inner Wheel Club President Rekha Jain said doctors play a crucial role in protecting public health and improving the quality of life.
Club Advisor and Past President Rashmi Pagaria said the event also featured a felicitation ceremony honoring Dr. Mamta Lodha, Dr. Shabdika Kulshreshtha, Dr. Mani, Dr. Mansi, and 13 other women doctors for their dedicated service. The doctors were presented with traditional stoles, certificates of appreciation, and mementoes.
The programme was conducted by Club Secretary Advocate Sadhana Mehta, while Vice President Advocate Babita Jain delivered the vote of thanks. Senior office-bearers and members of the club attended the event.
