NSO Organises Essay and Painting Competitions Under Swachhata Pakhwada
Udaipur: As part of the Swachhata Pakhwada campaign, the National Statistics Office (NSO) organised essay writing and painting competitions for students of Classes 6 to 10 at the Government Senior Secondary School, Nela, Savina Gram.
Assistant Director Meghal Sharma said the initiative aimed to promote awareness among students about cleanliness, environmental conservation, and social responsibility. Students enthusiastically participated in both competitions, expressing their thoughts on sanitation and environmental protection through creative essays and colourful artwork.
Participants who demonstrated outstanding performance were honoured with certificates and prizes. During the programme, officials encouraged students to make cleanliness a part of their daily lives and actively contribute to the Swachh Bharat Mission by maintaining hygienic surroundings and spreading awareness in their communities.
The event was attended by Senior Statistical Officers Hemraj Meena, Ramkishan Bairwa, and Hira Lal Meena, along with School Principal Sanjay Tunawat, Meenu Salvi, Vijay Jain, Poonam Rani, and other NSO officials and staff members.
