INDORE, India: SAGE University, Indore, has inaugurated an AICTE-approved eight-day Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Universal Human Values (UHV-II) at its Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences, aimed at strengthening value-based education and human-centric teaching practices.
The program was inaugurated by Vice-Chancellor Dr. Prithvi Yadav, who emphasized the importance of integrating human values into higher education to develop socially responsible and ethically conscious professionals.
AICTE resource persons Dr. Upasana Mishra, Dr. Manilal Amipara, and Dr. Sangeeta Shukla delivered keynote sessions on value-based education and the role of universal human values in the teaching-learning process.
More than 100 faculty members from six states across India are participating in the training program, reflecting its national reach and relevance.
SAGE University Chancellor Sanjeev Agrawal, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Prashant Jain, and Managing Director Sakshi Bansal extended their best wishes for the successful conduct of the program.
The Faculty Development Program aims to strengthen a culture of value-based education among educators, enabling them to foster ethical awareness, empathy, and holistic development in students.
