Bhilwara: Dr. Abhishek Saxena, Associate Professor in the Department of Physics and Deputy Dean (Research) at Sangam University, Bhilwara, has been awarded a prestigious travel grant by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), Government of India, under its International Travel Support (ITS) Scheme to present his research paper at the 46th COSPAR Scientific Assembly in Italy.
The international conference will be held in Florence, Italy, from August 1 to 9, 2026, and will bring together leading scientists from across the globe working in the fields of space science, atmospheric science, and Earth science. During the event, Dr. Saxena will present his research findings and engage with international experts on the latest developments in scientific research and global collaborations.
According to the ANRF approval, the travel grant covers the economy-class return airfare between India and Italy, airport taxes, and visa fees. The ITS Scheme is a prestigious initiative of the Government of India that supports outstanding Indian researchers in presenting their work at reputed international scientific forums while strengthening global research partnerships.
Expressing his gratitude, Dr. Saxena credited the achievement to the continuous support and encouragement of the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar, university management, the Research Cell, his colleagues, and his research scholars at Sangam University.
