Rajasthan Education Minister Backs Round Table India's 'Freedom Through Education' Initiative

Udaipur: Rajasthan Education Minister Madan Dilawar has expressed support for Round Table India's flagship 'Freedom Through Education' campaign, reaffirming the state's commitment to strengthening public education through partnerships with social organisations.

The assurance came during a meeting between the minister and a Round Table India delegation at Ashok Club, where both sides discussed collaboration for the construction, upgradation and modernisation of government schools across Rajasthan.

The delegation, led by Area-12 Chairman Aneesh Chaudhary and Project Convener Anup Najwani, highlighted the impact of the organisation's education initiative over the past 27 years. According to the organisation, the campaign has facilitated the development of 3.78 million sq ft of educational infrastructure, completed 3,960 educational projects, and constructed more than 10,040 classrooms, benefiting over 11 million children across the country. The initiative has attracted community support and investments of ₹537 crore.

The representatives informed the minister that Round Table India Area-12 plans to work closely with the Education Department to expand school infrastructure and modernisation projects across Rajasthan in the coming years.

Appreciating the organisation's contribution, Dilawar said quality education can reach every child only through effective collaboration between the government and society. He assured the delegation of the government's full support and expressed willingness to partner in the development of government schools.

The meeting also focused on increasing the number of government school infrastructure projects, simplifying coordination and approval mechanisms with the Education Department, encouraging greater participation from philanthropists and corporate donors, and establishing long-term partnerships for educational development.

The meeting was coordinated by Vaibhav Gupta of JRT-233 and attended by chairmen and project conveners from various Round Table chapters in Jaipur.

Round Table India's 'Freedom Through Education' initiative continues to strengthen educational infrastructure across the country, providing improved learning environments for millions of students.
