District Collector Honours Everest Winner Manasvi Agrawal for Historic Achievement

Udaipur: District Collector Gaurav Agrawal honoured Udaipur’s daughter Manasvi Agrawal, the first non-military and non-government Everest winner from Rajasthan, for her remarkable achievement. Manasvi was felicitated with a traditional Mewari Pag, and the Collector recommended her name for recognition at the State-level Independence Day ceremony. Udaipur MP Dr. Mannalal Rawat has also written to the Chief Minister seeking state-level honour for her.

Manasvi created history by hoisting the Indian flag on Mount Everest on May 21, becoming the first woman from Rajasthan’s non-military sector to achieve this feat. She has also conquered Mount Vinson Massif, Mount Elbrus, Mount Kilimanjaro, and Mount Aconcagua, becoming the first woman from Rajasthan to summit the highest peaks of five continents within nine months.

She received advanced mountaineering training from reputed institutes, including the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute. Besides mountaineering, Manasvi is a national-level shooting achiever, law postgraduate, and environmental law researcher. She has also cleared the UGC Assistant Professor Eligibility Test with 99.2 percentile.
