Sai Tirupati University Hosts Nutrition Awareness Program for Nursing Students

UDAIPUR— Sai Tirupati University organized a Nutrition Awareness Program for students at the Venkateshwara College of Nursing to promote understanding of balanced diets and the role of proper nutrition in disease management.

The program aimed to raise awareness among nursing students about the importance of healthy eating habits and therapeutic nutrition in improving patient care.

The event was attended by Vice Chancellor Dr. Prashant Nahar, Registrar Devendra Jain, Deputy Registrar Dr. Kanupriya Tiwari and College of Nursing Principal Vijay Singh Rawat. The dignitaries praised the students' efforts and said nutrition awareness plays a vital role in building a healthier society, making such educational initiatives increasingly important.

During the program, second-semester B.Sc. Nursing students presented models, charts and multimedia presentations illustrating dietary management for patients suffering from various medical conditions. The presentations focused on the nutritional requirements and benefits of balanced diets for people with diabetes, hypertension, anemia, obesity, kidney disease and heart disease.

Students explained how appropriate nutrition can support treatment, improve recovery and help prevent complications associated with these conditions.

Nutrition In-charge Kiran Regar played a key role in organizing the event. The program concluded with a vote of thanks to the participants, students and guests.
