###DPS Udaipur Launches Defense Leadership Program for Students
UDAIPUR, Delhi Public School (DPS) Udaipur has launched the DPS Defense Leadership Program (DDLP) for students of Classes 11 and 12, aiming to prepare them for careers as officers in the Indian Armed Forces.
The program was inaugurated in the presence of parents, who welcomed the initiative and appreciated the school's efforts to provide specialized career guidance.
School officials said the DDLP will go beyond preparation for the National Defence Academy (NDA) entrance examination by offering structured training for the Services Selection Board (SSB) selection process. The curriculum includes group discussions, psychological assessments, personal interviews, group tasks, leadership development, communication skills and physical fitness training.
Prof. Vice Chairman Govind Agrawal described the program as an important and inspiring initiative to encourage and prepare young students for leadership roles in the armed forces.
Principal Sanjay Narwariya said the program is being offered free of cost to students of Classes 11 and 12 alongside the CBSE curriculum, enabling them to pursue academic studies while systematically preparing for a career in the military.
The school said the initiative is designed to help aspiring defense candidates develop the knowledge, skills and confidence required for officer-level selection in India's armed forces.
