Udaipur: On the occasion of National Broadcasting Day, the Pacific Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS), in collaboration with the National Service Scheme (NSS) Cell, organized a quiz competition on the university campus. Students from various faculties enthusiastically participated and answered questions related to broadcasting and general knowledge.
The winners of the competition were Sanjana Agrawal, Faisal Khan, Arjun Jat, and Krishnapal Singh Rathore.
The event was graced by distinguished guests from All India Radio (Akashvani), Udaipur, including Manoj Ambesh, Dhirendra Singh (Programme Executive), RJ Shameel Sheikh, and Paritosh Purohit. They shared valuable insights with the students on the significance of radio broadcasting and the evolving media landscape.
The programme was attended by Dr. Dileep Kumar L., Dr. Nitesh Mangal, Dr. Kanhaiya More, Dr. Mehul Patel, Dr. Shivangi Yadav, Dr. Maldev Rana, and Devarshi Mehta from the university. Representatives from the NSS Cell, including Deepak Teli, Dr. Suresh Dev, Dr. Avantika Gupta, Tanveer, and Giriraj, were also present.
The primary objective of the event was to enhance students' awareness of broadcasting media and promote general knowledge through an engaging and educational competition.
