Lions Club Sriganganagar Main Organizes Seminar on Women’s Empowerment
Sriganganagar: Lions Club Sriganganagar Main organized the second awareness seminar under its "Saanjh 2.0" initiative at Nubela Resorts, focusing on the theme of Women’s Empowerment.
The seminar featured Advocate Mrs. Supreema Chitlangia as the keynote speaker, who educated participants about women's constitutional and legal rights, domestic violence laws, workplace safety, property rights, and various legislations aimed at women’s welfare.
Mrs. Suman Jaipal, Station House Officer of Padampur Police Station, spoke on women’s safety, cybercrime prevention, police support services, and emergency helplines. She encouraged women to approach the police without hesitation whenever they face any form of harassment or difficulty.
The programme was attended by Lions Region Chairman Deepak Watts, Zone Chairman Naurang Rai Garg, District PRO Ashish Arora, District Secretary Rajesh Watts, Club President Hanuman Das Singal, Vice President Ravi Goyalan, CA Sanjay Bansal, Ramesh Kumar Bansal, Rajkumar Baghla, Piyush Mundewala, Dhyanesh Agrawal, Manju Singhal, Noopur Singhal, Madhu Goyalan, Laxmi Bansal, Gunjan Mundewala, Manali Jain, and several other distinguished members. The seminar aimed to raise awareness about women's rights, safety, and empowerment through expert guidance and community engagement.
