Geetanjali Hospital launches nationwide “One India, Safe India” road safety mission in Udaipur.
UDAIPUR, Geetanjali Hospital, in collaboration with the Transport and Road Safety Department and Aadhar Foundation Trust, will organize a Road Safety Superhero Felicitation Ceremony on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Geetanjali Auditorium as part of its ongoing road safety awareness campaign.
The event will also mark the launch of the “One India, Safe India” road safety mission, a nationwide awareness initiative spanning from Kashmir to Kanyakumari. The campaign aims to promote road safety awareness across the country and encourage greater public participation in building safer roads and responsible traffic practices.
Kalpesh Chand Rajbar, Head of Marketing at Geetanjali Hospital, said the programme is designed to raise awareness about road safety, encourage timely assistance to road accident victims and reinforce the importance of following traffic rules.
A key highlight of the event will be the “Road Safety Superhero” awards under the Rahveer Scheme, recognizing individuals and organizations that have demonstrated exceptional courage by providing immediate assistance to road accident victims, helping save lives during the critical golden hour.
Rajbar said Geetanjali Hospital, a leading trauma care center, regularly conducts public awareness initiatives focused on road safety and emergency response. These programmes emphasize the importance of prompt medical assistance during the golden hour following an accident and encourage citizens to become active contributors to life-saving efforts.
The programme will also feature a special address by the Regional Transport Officer (RTO) on traffic regulations, safe driving practices and the importance of road safety. Organizers said the initiative seeks to strengthen public responsibility toward safer roads and inspire more people to assist accident victims in emergency situations.
