SWAYAM Awareness Program Held at Venkateshwar College of Nursing

UDAIPUR — Venkateshwar College of Nursing, Udaipur, organized a SWAYAM (Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) Portal Awareness Program to familiarize students with the Government of India's online learning platform and the opportunities it offers for digital education and skill development.

The program aimed to educate students about the SWAYAM portal, which provides free online courses developed by some of India's leading educational institutions, enabling learners to enhance their academic knowledge and professional competencies.

During the session, Devarshi Mehta, the nodal officer, explained the registration process on the SWAYAM portal, the range of online courses available, credit transfer provisions, the certification process, and the growing importance of digital learning in higher education.

The program was led by Dr. Devendra Jain, Registrar of Sai Tirupati University; Dr. Kanupriya Tiwari, Deputy Registrar; Dr. Vijay Singh Rawat, Principal of Venkateshwar College of Nursing; Devarshi Mehta; and Dr. Geetanjali Sharma.

Faculty members Dr. Chandra Prakash Dekhawat, Maheshwari Patel, Sandeep Choudhary, Tanveer Khan, and Giriraj Charan were also present during the awareness program.
