MMPS Hosts INTACH Heritage Club Investiture Ceremony on the Theme ‘Celebrating Diversity’
Udaipur: Maharana Mewar Public School (MMPS), The City Palace, Udaipur, organized the annual Investiture Ceremony of its INTACH Heritage Club on the theme “Celebrating Diversity.” The event aimed to nurture leadership qualities among students while promoting heritage conservation and social responsibility.
The ceremony was attended by Gaurav Singhvi, Co-Convener of the INTACH Udaipur Chapter, as the Chief Guest. Other distinguished guests included Mahip Bhatnagar, Arjun Pancholi, Mrs. Dolly Mogre, Oshin Sharma, Lokesh Gandhi (Life Member, INTACH), Honorary Director Satish Kumar Sharma, and Principal Mrs. Rakhi Trivedi. Student Rudrakshi Shaktawat presented the annual report highlighting the club’s activities during the 2025–26 session.
The cultural programme featured group singing, Sanskrit shloka recitation, poetry, solo dance, and a vibrant Krishna Raas performance. Riddit Joshi’s shloka recitation and Manikarnika’s rendition of the poem Krishna Ki Chetavani received special appreciation.
Gemini Purbia was inducted as Club President, while Asher Hussain, Lavisha Sen, Himakshi Parakh, and Rudrakshi Shaktawat assumed office as Executive Officers. Gaurav Singhvi administered the oath and presented badges to the newly elected team. Students with outstanding contributions were also felicitated.
MMPS was honoured as the Second Best INTACH Heritage Club in India, receiving a citation and a cash prize of ₹3,000. Harshi Parakh and Aaradhya Singh were named Best Heritage Club Students. Addressing the gathering, Singhvi urged students to actively preserve India’s rich cultural heritage, while Honorary Director Satish Kumar Sharma congratulated the club on its national recognition and encouraged continued dedication to heritage conservation. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Club President Gemini Purbia.
