The Kargil Shaurya Vatika has been created in the Assembly complex to honour the martyrs of the Kargil War; the initiative combines tree plantation with the honouring of the martyrs' widows (*Veeranganas*). A total of 1,100 saplings have been planted in this garden, with the aim of linking the memory of the martyrs to greenery and environmental conservation. The significance of these initiatives is heightened by the fact that the Legislative Assembly is not just a place for law-making but also an institution that inspires society. Thus, initiatives like the Kargil Shaurya Vatika convey a powerful message of service to the nation, sacrifice, and a sense of duty to the new generation. In this context, various other initiatives linked to the Constitution, democratic values, great figures, and cultural heritage represent significant steps towards transforming the Legislative Assembly complex into a vibrant center of inspiration.
