Lafzon Ki Mehfil to Host National Poetry Gathering Today
Udaipur, The city’s prominent literary organisation Lafzon Ki Mehfil will organise its monthly poetry symposium and felicitation ceremony today (Sunday, July 26) at 4 p.m. at Ashoka Palace, above the Judio showroom on 100 Feet Shobhagpura Road, Udaipur.
Founder Mukesh Madhavani said the event is an important part of the organisation’s monthly literary series and will bring together poets, writers, and literature enthusiasts from Udaipur and across the country to recite their original works.
The winners of the poetry competition on the theme “Mother” will be honoured with prizes and certificates. All participants will also receive certificates of appreciation, while five distinguished senior litterateurs from Udaipur will be felicitated for their contribution to literature. Madhavani appealed to literature lovers to attend the event in large numbers and celebrate the literary festival.
Programme Convener Pt. Purushottam Shakadwipiya ‘Premi’ said the ceremony would recognise the top three winners of the “Mother” poetry competition. In addition, every participant would be honoured, and five eminent literary personalities from Udaipur would receive special recognition.
Mukesh Madhavani said Lafzon Ki Mehfil has evolved into a strong national literary platform with a network of more than 700 poets and writers from across India. He added that the event would provide a memorable evening of poetry recitations, literary honours, and cultural expression for literature enthusiasts.
