Poster Unveiled for Udaipur Swadeshi Fair 2026
Udaipur, Preparations for the four-day MP Swadeshi Fair 2026, scheduled to begin on October 2 in Udaipur, gathered momentum with the unveiling of the event's official poster on Saturday. The fair's office will be inaugurated on Sunday, marking the formal start of preparations.
Fair Convener Manoj Joshi said the event would provide a platform for entrepreneurs and traders from Udaipur and nearby regions to showcase and market their products. The fair is expected to promote indigenous products and encourage local businesses.
Among those present at the poster launch were Pramod Kumar, General Manager of the Udaipur Cooperative Consumer Wholesale Store; Girish Sharma, President of Kaladwas Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Patron Rajendra Surana; former President Gopal Agrawal; Hemant Jain, Manish Ganna, and Fair Administrative Officer Rajkumar Sharma.
Pramod Kumar described the Swadeshi Fair as the need of the hour, saying it aligns with the Prime Minister's "Vocal for Local" initiative. He assured full support from the cooperative store and said nearly 30 stalls would be set up by the cooperative store and other cooperative societies. He added that Bharat Taxi would also participate with a stall, while the cooperative store would distribute special gifts to visitors. A dedicated Shri Anna (millets) stall will also be established to promote awareness and encourage local consumption.
The exhibition will feature four waterproof dome structures housing modern exhibition kiosks. Several leading entrepreneurs are also expected to install specially designed premium stalls to display their products.
Fair Office to Be Inaugurated Today
The office of Swadeshi Fair 2026 will be inaugurated on Sunday at 7:30 a.m. at Rajendra Suri Shatabdi Mandir, Dhoolkot, Jai Shri Colony. The ceremony will be held in the presence of Acharya Shri Dr. Mukti Sagar Surishwar Ji Maharaj, while Member of Parliament Dr. Mannalal Rawat will attend as the chief guest.
