Udaipur: The Timber and Plywood Association, Udaipur, held its annual general meeting at Hotel Amantra, attended by Association President Ravindra Singh Chauhan, office-bearers, and a large number of members.
During the meeting, the Association presented its annual financial statement and accounts for the previous year, which were reviewed by the members. Discussions also focused on the Association's future plans, business activities, and issues concerning the welfare of its members.
Addressing the gathering, President Ravindra Singh Chauhan said that plywood and laminate prices have increased due to prevailing market conditions and developments in the international market. After detailed deliberations, members unanimously decided to implement the revised prices with immediate effect.
The meeting also explored strategies to strengthen the timber trade, improve business prospects, and enhance the Association's organizational activities. Chauhan reaffirmed the Association's commitment to safeguarding the interests of traders and supporting the sustainable growth of the timber and plywood industry through collective efforts and effective planning.
